Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a family with a strong musical background. As a child, she was exposed to many traditional music as well as older boleros. In addition, she was a fan of the traditional romance ballads as well as ranchero. Ana loves tangos and opera, and the dramatic shows that she attends. When she was 16 years old, she began singing and learning music with her mother. Flavio, a Mexican famous tenor, started to give her more intense training in singing. In Guadalajara, she attended the School of Music of University of Guadalajara and then in Toluca at The School of Sacred Music. The beginning of her professional career saw her perform with many orchestras, chamber ensembles, and opera choirs and chamber groups in Guadalajara. After moving into the United States, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2002 she relocated to southern California. She sings as a soloist Latin American music for private occasions and is a part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. Her passion for performing, music, and the arts keeps her engaged in local projects for both an artist as well as a instructor. Ana is also a former member of Community Chorus of Redlands as well as members of the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana loves to sing traditional Latin American songs and hopes that she can inspire others to sing the same.
