Christopher Robert Evans (born June 13, 1981) is an American actor from the United States. In 2000, he began his acting career as a character in TV series such as Opposite sexual sex. Following appearances in several teens' films, including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he became famous for his portrayal of Marvel Comics character the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and its sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans was also featured in film versions of comics and graphic novels TMNT (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009), Snowpiercer (2003). Evans gained more attention for his portrayal of Steve Rogers / Captain America in a variety of Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Captain America: Civil War and the ensemble films The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). He was one of the top-paid actors in the world because of his work for the Marvel franchise.
